Berlin 2026 : CinEuro Meet & Greet
On 15 February 2026, for the 76th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival, CinEuro hosted its traditional Meet & Greet, bringing together film and audiovisual industry professionals from across its partner territories.
More than 200 professionals from CinEuro’s partner territories (Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium) gathered at the premises of the Saarland Representation in Berlin. The event provided a valuable networking opportunity, fostering dialogue, the exchange of experiences and the development of new opportunities for collaboration among professionals from the different territories.
Participants also had the opportunity to preview the new trailers showcasing filming opportunities in the Grand Est Region and across the Strasbourg Eurometropolis. The event also served as an opportunity to remind attendees of the 2026 CinEuro Award deadline and to encourage professionals present to submit their projects.

The organisation of this event was made possible through the cooperation agreement between Saarland and the Grand Est Region. It reflects the strength of the cultural and institutional ties between the two territories, as well as their shared commitment to strengthening cross-border cooperation in the film and audiovisual sectors.
This dynamic is also reflected in other joint initiatives and events, such as the Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival, which likewise contributes to strengthening exchanges and synergies among professionals working in film creation across neighbouring territories.
