CinEuro Prize 2026

The 2026 Alentours Forum concludes on a resounding success!

The 21st edition of the Alentours Forum, a leading event for the Upper Rhine co-production market, took place from Wednesday, July 1 to Friday, July 3, 2026. The event brought over 350 film and audiovisual professionals together, further confirming its role as a key platform within the cross-border audiovisual production ecosystem.

Over the course of three days, participants attended networking events, panel discussions addressing current industry challenges, and numerous opportunities for professional exchange. The Forum was also marked by the announcement of the winners of the 2026 CinEuro Award.

This year, five fiction projects were shortlisted for the final stage of the Award and submitted to the jury for evaluation. Following its deliberations, the jury selected the winner of the fourth edition of the CinEuro Award in the Fiction category.

In Brussels, something is terribly wrong: eggs are mysteriously disappearing from nests, sending the city’s birds into a state of panic. Before long, suspicion falls on the parakeets, loud newcomers from elsewhere who are blamed for every misfortune. Determined to uncover the truth, the Parliament of Birds appoints three birds to investigate the alleged involvement of these outsiders:

Chantperdu, a fearless and hot-headed robin; Sept, a brilliant yet brooding crow; and Jaboterne, a bewildered pigeon drafted into the mission through an unfortunate twist of fate. Between stakeouts on power lines, rooftop surveillance, and undercover missions inside the parakeet colony, this unlikely trio must unravel a conspiracy that could upend the delicate balance of the city’s avian community…

Jury’s statement: The CinEuro Award is presented to a work that addresses essential societal issues: living together, openness to others, and the building of a shared future. These universal themes are explored with sensitivity and intelligence, through a form capable of reaching audiences of all backgrounds. The jury is particularly proud to support an animated project, a first in the history of the CinEuro Award, and to help it spread its wings and take flight.
