The second edition of the International Meeting on Culture, Knowledge and Immersive Technologies (RICCI) took place on 4 and 5 October in Metz. This event, launched by the Region and organised by the Bureau des Images Grand Est, brought together 300 local and international stakeholders from the world of immersive audiovisual and digital creation.

Among the participants were a wide range of players including local authorities, museums, creative studios, artists and broadcasters. Over the course of the event, participants were able to attend workshops, meet experts, share feedback and listen to presentations by inspiring project leaders, providing an opportunity to discover the very latest innovations in the field of immersion.

The integration of immersive technologies in areas such as cultural creation, heritage preservation, education and training has transformed these sectors into engines of attraction and vitality for the regions. Through these meetings, the Region aims to boost this emerging sector, which is an essential breeding ground for creativity and innovation.
