Expected local effect :

The aim is to generate a structuring effect on the audiovisual industry in the Brussels-Capital Region, to the benefit of all European film industries, both in terms of job creation and companies' order books.

Eligible expenses :

Eligible expenditure s expenditure made in the Brussels-Capital Region for material or intellectual goods and services that have a direct connection with the audiovisual sector; it must have the purpose of making the intended audiovisual work and be structuring (generating long-term economic benefits) for the audiovisual sector in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Allocation decision process :

Admissible applications are assessed by the screen.brussels fund team and submitted to the decision taken by the board of directors.

Maximum amount of financial assistance :

500 000 € max.

Submission schedule :

3 sessions organised by the fund: January - June - September

Eligibility requirements :

– Cultural criteria (4 at least)
– Economic criteria


Long-feature films and series (more than 10 minutes per episode) : 50% of the financing acquired and a minimum of €250,000 of the audiovisual expenditure in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Documentaries: 50% of the financing acquired and a minimum of €75,000 of the audiovisual expenditure in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Special format (xr, video games etc.) : 60% of the financing acquired and a minimum of €75,000 of the audiovisual expenditure in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Series of less than 10 minutes per episode : 60% of the financing acquired and a minimum of €45,000 of the audiovisual expenditure in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Audio formats: 60% of the financing acquired and a minimum of €30,000 of the audio expenditure in the Brussels-Capital Region.
