This year again, ten producers from the Grand Est region, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium participated in Locarno Pro. This annual event, held alongside the prestigious Locarno Film Festival, is an essential platform for film professionals looking to forge international collaborations and immerse themselves in current industry trends.

Fruitful exchanges and projects in the pipeline

From August 8 to 12, they participated in one-to-one meetings with producers selected for Locarno Pro’s flagship programs, Match Me! and Alliance4Development, thus strengthening their network and exploring new opportunities for cross-border co-production.

Beyond individual meetings, the delegation members attended conferences, professional lunches, screenings, and networking events. These moments allowed them to deepen their knowledge of the European market, exchange with industry experts, and consolidate professional relationships, paving the way for future collaborative projects.
