SAFIRE (Société des Auteurs Indépendants de Région Est) is an association that brings together the writer-directors of the Grand Est region and represents them to the public authorities and to the various film and audiovisual bodies. It is also a place of exchange, reflection and emulation. It results from the merger of Safire Lorraine and Alsace.

Association of film and audiovisual technicians in the Grand Est.
Composed of an office and a board of directors of professionals in the field. The association counts for members professional technicians of all backgrounds. It aims to promote and develop the technicians of the Grand Est and their skills, in the region and outside it. It is a dynamic partner of the institutions (BAT, regions…), a reliable interlocutor with the productions, it puts in network the technicians of the territory and allows them to develop professionally. We are present on a majority of professional events in France, you can also meet us every month in Reims, Metz or Nancy and Strasbourg at the Kinoapéro, a meeting place where members can meet informally. And of course, the annual professional meeting organized by the association with conferences and master-classes for professionals.

Filmboard Karlsruhe e.V.

The Filmboard Karlsruhe brings together film producers based in Karlsruhe. It serves as a contact for filmmakers and supports film productions wishing to implement projects in Karlsruhe, particularly in the areas of location scouting and production services. Film events, further education and the establishment and intensification of international cooperation are at the forefront of our work.

No Limit Orchestra

Founded and directed by Frédéric Durrmann, the No Limit Orchestra (NLO) was officially born on January 14, 2018 in Strasbourg on the occasion of its first concert. The NLO has around one hundred professional musicians and works closely with many film music composers such as David Reyes.
We have produced several film soundtracks, notably for director Sébastien Pins, and soundtracks for film productions are currently in the works.

Saarländisches Filmarchiv e.V. (SFA)

The SFA is the organizational precursor to a future publicly-run cinematheque of the Saarland.
Our areas of responsibility are
– networking with the filmTV+online industry and media amateurs
– collecting historical film material from the greater region, making it accessible and supplying it to interested production companies for documentaries/feature films,
– research the media history of the greater region
– curate: Exhibitions, film programs etc
– educate: Courses, workshops etc.

Sauf Imprévu

Sauf Imprévu runs film, music and literature workshops for disadvantaged and/or vulnerable groups. It is currently developing LE DROIT DE CHANTER in collaboration with LE DROIT DE VIVRE.
It is developing a trilogy of documentaries on aging, for which it is seeking professional production partners.

At the beginning of 2018, representatives of the Grand Est region and the Grand Est CCI, together with all stakeholders in the field of innovation, created the Grand E-nov agency. Alongside existing structures in the field of research, development and innovation, this unique innovation agency in the Grand Est region offers a response to the needs of companies in terms of innovation, in accordance with the Regional Plan for Economic Development, Innovation and Internationalization (SRDEII). It is also involved in the structuring of industrial sectors such as the film industry.

The goal of the GS8D is to show that Super-8 lives! We would like to show this on one day with many simultaneous S8 events around the globe, to set a sign for Super-8, to reconnect the S8 community, to further strengthen it and to draw the attention of the general public to the values of Super-8 film in the past, present and future. The GS8D provides a framework that you fill in and design on location with your own Super 8 movies and S8 events. GS8D is a decentralized, international independent film festival – thanks to you!
