CinEuro Film Lab "Migration": 1st inspiration tour in Mannheim

In the frame of the 72^nd International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg (IFFMH), the Medien- und Filmgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg and the Film Commission Nordbaden organized a first Inspiration tour fo the CinEuro Film Lab “Migration” on Tuesday November 21.

Bringing together authors and producers, it began with a tour of Mannheim on the theme of “under one sky”, passing by a church, a synagogue and a mosque, as well as several “StadtWandKunst Murals” street art works.

After a joint Turkish lunch, the “Culture, internationality and integration” round-table discussion with professional footballer Josephine Henning highlighted the cultural differences, limits and integration opportunities offered by the sporting world.

The group then moved on to Heidelberg for the screening of the Israeli feature film “Delegation”, in the presence of its director, Asaf Saban.

The evening came to a festive close.

The following day, the participants met up with scriptwriter Jan Galli for an initial discussion on the writing prospects offered by this first phase of inspiration.
