Eligibility requirements :
The producer must contribute at least 5% of the eligible expenditure through their investment, or in the case of an international production 5% of the German financing. The first broadcast must occur in a Baden-Württemberg movie theatre if the Land is the biggest public financer.
A prerequisite for funding is the voluntary commitment to comply with the criteria “Ecological Minimum Standards for German Cinema, TV and Online/VoD Productions” in the version current at the respective submission date, which is available for download on the MFG homepage.
