Eligibility requirements :
To be eligible, the project submitted must meet the following criteria:
- The project is in development
- Single or serial, meeting the following minimum durations (total length of episodes in the case of series):

For non-linear audiovisual projects such as virtual reality works, no minimum duration is required. However, only narrative works in eligible genres (fiction, creative documentary, animation) can be supported.
- The applicant Swiss company is a minority shareholder in the co-development, as evidenced by a deal-memo or co-production/co-development contract (N.B. a letter of intent is not sufficient) signed with an independent foreign delegated production company. TV channels and streaming platforms are not considered independent production companies. The deal-memo/contract must clearly state the intended distribution of rights (percentages), specify which producer is delegated, and meet the conditions of a Swiss co-production agreement (country, minimum participation, etc.) so that the film can eventually be recognized as an official co-production by the FOC. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that, for TV series and productions, such an agreement currently only exists with Canada, Mexico and the French-speaking part of Belgium (Wallonia).
- More than 50% of development funding in the majority country is confirmed at the time of application.
- The first day of shooting must be no earlier than eight months after submission of the application. In justified cases, an exception may be made on request for documentary projects.
