CinEuro Industry Meet-up – « What's next? Imagining and Bridging Futures »

The International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg and MFG Baden-Württemberg are once again inviting film professionals to an exclusive industry meet-up as part of the CinEuro Film Lab. This edition will focus on the festival’s motto, “Imagine Futures,” in celebration of its 75th anniversary. The Mannheim-Heidelberg Film Festival is the second-oldest film festival in Germany.
Renowned for its discovery of emerging talent, the International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg has helped launch the careers and showcase the early works of iconic filmmakers such as François Truffaut, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Agnès Varda and Jim Jarmusch. Today, this same spirit of discovery continues to inspire new approaches and drive transformation across the industry.
What storytelling trends and technological disruptions will shape tomorrow’s audiovisual market? What comes next, and what futures can we imagine together?

This exclusive event is aimed at film professionals from the CinEuro regions, particularly screenwriters, directors and producers.
Participation is free of charge for selected professionals.
Travel and accommodation costs are not covered and must be arranged individually.
The event will be held primarily in English. Simultaneous interpretation from German into English is planned for the German-language panel discussion. Participants are welcome to communicate in German, English or French throughout the event.
