CALL FOR APPLICATIONS Join the delegation « FUTURE OF CINEMA#4 – KIKK FESTIVAL » !

The Grand Est Region, through the CinEuro Film Lab, in partnership with Wallimage, is launching a call for applications for the final event of its four-part thematic meeting series, “FUTURE OF CINEMA #4”, taking place from 21 to 23 October 2026 in Namur, Belgium.

Bringing together a delegation of around ten professionals, this meeting is organised to mark the 15th anniversary of the KIKK Festival in Namur. Over three days, from Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 October 2026, the 10 participants will benefit from a tailor-made programme designed for the occasion.

This delegation is part of a broader cross-border cooperation initiative and is aimed not only at film and audiovisual industry professionals, but also at digital creative professionals from partner territories who wish to develop exchanges, collaborations and joint projects around immersive works (XR), with a particular focus on hybrid projects at the crossroads of cinema, video games, digital art and immersive scenography.

This pioneering programme invites participants to discover new media through innovative forms of storytelling, at the intersection of cinema and the fascinating world of immersive technologies.

Applicants’ Profile

This call for applications is aimed, on the one hand, at film and audiovisual professionals (writers, directors and producers) and, on the other, at digital creative professionals (game designers, video game/animation studios, festivals, cultural venues presenting video mapping works, recipients of the TRIENNIAL contract, AMI digital scheme, etc.), primarily from the cross-border territories that are members of the CinEuro Network (Brussels-Capital Region, Wallonia, Luxembourg, Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg, Grand Est, and the cantons of Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft and Aargau).

Applicants must have relevant professional experience and demonstrate a strong interest in the creation, production or distribution of immersive works.

Professionals from other territories may also apply, provided they can demonstrate significant professional ties with the Grand Est region: recipients of the AMI digital scheme, the Grand Est Region’s film support programme, the TRIENNIAL contract, UNTERNEHMEN START, or participants in RICCI – International Meetings for Culture, Knowledge and Immersive Experiences.

Applicants must be available for the dates of the mission and commit to attending the entire programme outlined above.

The working languages will be English and French.
