The thematic sequece "Nature and Landscapes"
This CinEuro Film Lab programme, dedicated to the theme of nature and landscapes, is organised by Wallimage, in partnership with the Bureau des Images du Grand Est. Its aim is to explore the various natural landscapes of Belgium’s border regions, whilst addressing the challenges of eco-production, through panel discussions and special events organised alongside festivals, such as the Namur International Francophone Film Festival.
Inspiration Session #1
On 8 October 2025, Wallimage and the Film Fund Luxembourg organised the first inspirational session of the ‘Nature and Landscapes’ series as part of the Namur International Francophone Film Festival. Aimed at screenwriters, directors and producers, this event featured discussions on filming in natural environments and green storytelling, with speakers from the worlds of cinema and the creative industries. The day concluded with a cocktail reception for the BATAO Senegal project and a screening of Vanja d’Alcantara’s film CAP FAREWELL.
Inspiration Session #2
As part of the CinEuro Film Lab – Nature & Landscape, Wallimage, the Grand Est Region and the Bureau des Images are launching a call for applications to form a delegation of 10 professionals who will take part in a travelling programme across the French and Belgian Ardennes, in partnership with the Namur International Francophone Film Festival.
Over the course of three days, the professionals will take part in meetings with experts and explore the local ecosystem centred on green storytelling.
