About CinEuro Film Lab - Beyond Borders
Both a demarcation line and a place of exchange, borders are powerful symbols, the scene of sometimes emotionally-charged moments in people’s lives.
The COVID-19 pandemic has turned people’s habits and daily lives upside down, particularly in cross-border regions such as between France and Germany.
As a fundamental issue linking our territories, borders have naturally found their place within the CinEuro Film Lab, giving rise to the CinEuro Film Lab – Beyond Borders sequence.
Inspiration Session
An Inspiration Session, as part of the first phase of CinEuro Film Lab – Beyond Borders, took place on 12 November 2024 within the framework of the Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival.
In an intimate atmosphere, experts and witnesses shared striking experiences, offering inspiration for the development of scripts on subjects that transcend borders and are simply waiting to be told.
