To support scriptwriters in the development of film ideas linked to the territories.
Brussels, Wallonia, Luxembourg, the Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg, the Greater East and northern Switzerland have a great deal in common, and these commonalities can be brought to life in stories through the characters, the setting, the landscapes, typical geographical, historical and economic features, the relationship with borders, the identity or culture.
The concept : an incubator for film projects
The Inspiration Sessions conducted at symbolic locations enable filmmakers to draw inspiration from the settings and stories of these regions.
In a second step, the authors are supported in the development of their projects through writing workshops and professionalisation seminars, continuing to transcend borders.
Finally, the projects are prepared for production, in particular through pitch training sessions in front of producers at industry meetings such as the Forum Alentours.
The CinEuro Film Lab aims to promote the creation of new projects by finding inspiring topics as early as the writing phase – for example, through visits to special locations with narrative potential or through encounters with contemporary witnesses and experts on a wide variety of topics.
