CinEuro at the 46th Max Ophüls Festival: A meeting point for international co-productions
The 46th edition of the Max Ophüls Prize film festival in Saarbrücken came to an end last Saturday. The programme featured 150 films, including numerous premieres from all over the world.
Since 2016, the festival has organised co-production meetings that bring together producers and financing experts from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, South Tyrol and France to promote international cooperation opportunities.
Represented by Aurélie Réveillaud from the City and Eurometropolis of Strasbourg (Eurométropole de Strasbourg), CinEuro took part in the presentation of the seven projects to a specialist audience on the evening of 22 January. Mathilde Warisse from Grand Est presented Underdogs, a project by David Arslanian for WRONG FILMS. CinEuro is delighted to have taken part in this valuable event, which provided a real platform for networking and a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with a wide audience.
Many thanks to the Max Ophüls Festival and all our partners for making this possible!
