Backes production is a production company born at the end of 2020 which aims to produce independent author films focused on cross-border co-production with France and Germany in particular. The documentaries, animation and fiction films produced by Backes production are human-sized projects that respond to values of freedom, cooperation and respect.
The company aims to be young and ambitious, with innovative and daring projects in terms of both content and treatment.

Unser Ziel ist es, Filme zu entwickeln und zu produzieren, die die Arbeit belgischer und europäischer Filmschaffender auf die Leinwand bringen. In 2018, the nearby environment was excited by the event in terms of media in order to establish itself at the location. ICAN, Institut de Création et Animation Numériques, is a private higher education institution that has existed for nearly 15 years and aims to train the digital designers of tomorrow. The school offers excellent courses, from Bac to Bac+5, allowing students to obtain state-recognized titles at levels 6 and 7.
Specializing in user experience, ICAN offers students programs organized around 5 areas: Game Design, 3D Design and Animation, Web and Digital, UX Design and Digital Comics.
Students are accompanied by professionals who guarantee the effectiveness of the skills transmitted and allow students to freely develop their creativity thanks to state-of-the-art equipment made available to them. Doghouse Films

Founded in 2012 by David Mouraire and Pierre Urbain, in partnership with Belgian producer Walking The Dog, Doghouse Films combines the knowledge of its founders, gained through their past experience in various animation and fiction production companies.
Its two areas of expertise, 3D and 2D, mean that the studio now employs storyboarders, modelers, texture artists, 2D-3D layout artists, set designers, etc. Thanks to this core group of in-house artists, Doghouse Films is not just a financial partner, but also a force for artistic proposals.

The 2022 edition of the Forum Alentours, the annual flagship event for cross-border film and audiovisual co-production between Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg, will take place from June 28 to 30 in Strasbourg.
Program
Join us for a rich and eclectic program:
- Meetings coordinated by the Eurometropole of Strasbourg will give the opportunity to a hundred producers and financiers (cinema, television, new media) to find partners from the border countries. A selection of 25 projects will be proposed to them.
- During numerous panels, organized by the Grand Est Region in conjunction with CinEuro and its partners, professionals will be able to discuss the main issues for the industry and the potential offered by the cross-border film area.

A networking cocktail for the animated film industry

Presence at festivalsCinEuro was pleased to invite the animated film industry to a networking cocktail on June 15, during the MIFA – International Animation Film Market.
More than 100 studios, filmmakers and other animation industry players from France, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium and Switzerland took the opportunity to exchange with CinEuro’s partners, inlcuding film funds.

CinEuro at the Cannes Film Festival

Presence at festivalsOn May 20th, CinEuro organized a Networking Event on the sidelines of the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, a must-attend event for film professionals.
The opportunity to meet CinEuro’s partners and cross-border professionals from France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Gathered around the inaugural speech of Arnaud Robinet, more than 200 people were then able to exchange and talk about their current projects.
