Film Commission Nordbaden

The Film Commission is the regional contact for production companies of all kinds involved in the production of film, television and video projects and in need of information, service or contacts.
- Non-profit: free service, advice and information for the film industry.
- Regional networking, interface and moderation point between film industry and licensing authorities
- Information: central point of contact and information on filming and film production, referrals to local service providers and filmmakers, no permitting and scouting
- Provision of location and production guides
- Reference to funding opportunities
- Marketing: presence at fairs and festivals, promotion of local and German film industry

Balimage – Association film et art média à Bâle

Balimage promotes the importance of film and media arts in the Basel region. The association has more than 120 members who work in the field of film and media arts. Balimage is committed to the promotion of the film and media arts industry and represents its interests to political bodies and authorities. Balimage is the “meeting point” of the film scene – offering services, exchanges, debates and networks for the industry. Balimage wants to make film and media arts in the Basel region visible and accessible to a wider audience.
Balimage events:
- “Basel Film Night” at the Allianz-Cinema-Openair on Münsterplatz in Basel (approx. 1000 people) in August
- Basler Filmtreff (meeting of the Basel film community) about 8 times a year in the city cinema
- Participation in the award ceremony of the Basel Film Prize

All interested professionals are invited to come and discuss the technical possibilities and narrative formats offered by the virtual reality field. The event will take place in Kirchzarten, in the studios „Black Forest“.
