Contributions may be made to Swiss productions and to the Swiss share of International coproductions.
For subsidies for fiction and animation film production: filming cannot start before the decision to grant a subsidy has been made.
For documentary projects: the film shoot can start before the before the decision to grant a subsidy has been made, but the application must indicate if and how much of it has already been filmed.
Films < 60 minutes receive between 15,000 CHF to 50,000 CHF
The funding allocated to the total production must not be more than 50% of the total of the production costs attributable in Switzerland. 70% in certain cases.
