Applications are processed and an answer is given in the six weeks following their filing. In the event of a positive assessment, a legally non-binding declaration of intent is initially given. A request for payment of the subsidy can only be made during a project agreement, after a positive assessment of the final documents, in particular the final budget and financing plan with proof of the full financing.

Eligibility requirements :

▪ Eligible: audiovisual professionals and film-makers (without a production company) who have been living in the Basel region for at least a year, independent production companies that have been working in Basel-Stadt for at least two years
▪ Productions that have had a first showing on television are excluded from the project development
