{"id":28625,"date":"2026-04-21T16:18:58","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T15:18:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cineuro.eu\/agenda\/appel-a-candidatures-residence-decriture-transfrontaliere-histoires-et-legendes\/"},"modified":"2026-04-24T13:31:32","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T12:31:32","slug":"appel-a-candidatures-residence-decriture-transfrontaliere-histoires-et-legendes","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/cineuro.eu\/en\/agenda\/appel-a-candidatures-residence-decriture-transfrontaliere-histoires-et-legendes\/","title":{"rendered":"CinEuro Film Lab: Projektaufruf &#8211; Genre Film Residency &#8220;Geschichten und Legenden&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p--big c-primary\">The R\u00e9gion Grand Est, through the CinEuro Film Lab, in partnership with screen.brussels and Wallimage, in collaboration with La Sc\u00e9naristerie and with the support of SAFIRE Grand Est, is launching a cross-border genre film residency to be held between 2026 and 2027 in the form of four in-person writing workshops.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p--big c-primary\">This initiative is aimed at writer\u2013producer pairs and supports the development of feature film projects in the genre field (fantasy, science-fiction, crime, thriller, horror, action), both in live-action and animation, around the theme \u201cStories and Legends.\u201d The residency takes place in two regions\u2014Grand Est (France) and the Brussels-Capital Region (Belgium)\u2014and is organized alongside<strong> three major events in the Grand Est region.<\/strong> It concludes with the <strong>BIF Market<\/strong> (Brussels Genre Film Market) in April 2027. The program offers selected participants a structured framework that fosters their professional development, expands their network, and encourages the creation of international co-productions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Schedule<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p--big c-primary\"><strong>Writing Workshop 1<\/strong>: June 30 \u2013 July 3, 2026 (4 days) in Strasbourg as part of the Forum Alentours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p--big c-primary\"><strong>Writing Workshop 2:<\/strong> September 29 \u2013 October 2, 2026 (4 days) in Strasbourg and Mulhouse as part of the Eurogenre professional meetings at the European Fantasy Film Festival Strasbourg (FEFFS).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p--big c-primary\"><strong>Writing Workshop 3:<\/strong> Week of January 25, 2027 (4 days) as part of the G\u00e9rardmer International Fantasy Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p--big c-primary\"><strong>Writing Workshop 4:<\/strong> April 2027 (4 days), as part of the BIF Market during the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p--big c-primary\">Two individual online interim sessions, led by script doctors, are scheduled between sessions 1 and 2 and between sessions 2 and 3.
